• P4 uniprocessor only

• P!!! better price/performance than P4

• Celeron inexpensive but limited

• Good choices at the end of 2001

  • Uniprocessor Athlon 1.33GHz
  • SMP P!!! 1.0GHz or Palomino 1.2GHz

• You can mix Intel and Athlon hardware
